Build from source

Reigh is open source. You can build it, change it, and send improvements back.

Requirements

macOS 26 and Xcode 26 (Swift 6)
The Claude Code CLI, signed in, and git
XcodeGen, which make bootstrap installs with Homebrew

Build and run

git clone https://github.com/TejasBaid/reigh.git
cd reigh
make bootstrap   # installs xcodegen if needed
make run         # generates Reigh.xcodeproj, builds, launches

Other targets:

`make build`	Debug build into `build/DerivedData`
`make release`	Release build
`make test`	Run the test suites
`make fake`	Build the scripted `fake-claude` CLI and print how to use it
`make clean`	Remove build products and the generated project

The iPhone app (ReighMobile) builds from the same generated Xcode project.

Develop without spending

fake-claude is a scripted stand-in for the Claude Code CLI. Point Reigh at it to work on the UI and runtime without real model calls:

REIGH_SEED_DEMO=1 fills an isolated workspace with a sample company so every screen has something in it.

Tests

make test

The suites use Swift Testing and cover the database, org policy, cron, the memory mirror, the runtime and dispatcher, the MCP protocol end to end, worktrees and diffs, the phone link’s cryptography, and UI pieces. Opt-in tests against the real CLI cost a few cents:
